How to get back to Kitkat after Installing Lollipop Update?

Now you have updated your Lava Iris X8 to latest Android 5.1 Lollipop. The latest update have not support root yet, in case you want to move back to Android Kitkat 4.4.2 you have go through hurdles of flashing.
I assume that you have CWM Recovery with you, If you don't have then all you lose is your data.

Now follow the steps to flash Kitkat ROM back to your Iris X8.

  1. Download the stock rom first, you need to signup on Needrom to download the file. Procedure to flash stock ROM and get back your IMEI is mentioned in zip file. [Download Links Below]
  2. Now after you've done with flashing stock to your device, next step is to root. Root with Kingo Root and proceed to next step.
  3. After rooting download Mobile Uncle Tool and flash CTR recovery in your device. 
  4. Now keep your CWM backup ready and flash backup from recovery, to enter recovery mode simple open Mobile Uncle tool and Reboot Into Recovery Mode.
  5. From recovery you can restore whole your backup. 
  6. All after rebooting, restore your app+data backup from Titanium Backup. 
Please note, If you're not able to flash stock ROM for any reason then must follow this tutorial.

      Try installing VCOM drivers if you're unable to install ADB drivers which actually create this problem.

      It would be better if you mention which OS you're using now. For lollipop please follow this post, http://lavairisx8.blogspot.in/2015/10/how-to-flash-rooted-lollipop-update-in-iris-x8.html

      For kk try to uninstall any root app and then install it, root your phone with it (it will works) now you're phone is partially rooted, install the super su zip file from recovery and update it, if it fails to update then reopen the app and instead of updating it do the permanent unroot. - http://myapkay.com/how-to-unroot-your-rooted-android-phone/
      and then uninstall root apps and any supersu they install.

      Now you have clean the phone with such bugs and root it again and install the supersu again. It will works this time.
