[Solved] Clockwork Mod/CTR - Couldn't Open Directory... No files found Error

A proper elaboration of above title can be - Unable to restore backup in clockwork mod recovery or restore not working in clockwork mod. Okay whatsoever, all you need to do to recover backup in your android device is to first flash any custom ROM file available for it. Suppose we're working on Lava Iris X8. We accidentally pre-flash the entire ROM and now your device left with nothing installed in it. We tried recovering the previous backup but failed and give us the error Couldn't open directory... No files found.

This problem persist because we've now lost root access, try to root your android phone via  recovery, unfortunately there is no proper way to root via recovery and all other method leads to flashing the ROM that what's we gonna do in this tutorial.

• Download custom ROM available for your android device. 
• Flash ROM file and Reboot your phone.
• Now install Kingo Root or Root Master and root your device.
• Reboot your phone into recovery mode. 
• Now restore the recovery file. 
• That's all folks.

In case your phone does not have custom ROM available on internet you need to flash stock ROM which you can easily find in NeedRom.com, requires login.
