How to Generate IMEI Number in MTK 65XX Device

Some of the user are unable to re-write IMEI number after flashing to stock ROM. Although SN Write tool is provided with stock ROM but I don't why they are not using it :D Anyway with this little steps you can easily re-write your phone IMEI number without PC requirement.

Follow this step to get your IMEI back on any MTK 65XX device, requires root.

• First root your Lava Iris X8 using Kingo root and install CTR recovery.
• Now open Settings > About Phone and check whether Baseband version has values or not. If yes then follow next step.
• Download this app Chamelephon from play store, download APK from mediafire link.
• Remove both SIM's.
• Open the downloaded app and click Generate Random IMEI's.
• Apply new IMEI's. 
• Your new IMEI's will be displayed in popup.
• Restart your phone.
