How to Root Lava Iris X8 Lollipop Easiest Method of 2017
Hi, in this tutorial I will show you how to root Lava Iris X8 Lollipop without getting back to kitkat. This method is 100% foolproof and does not harm your system files at all. In order to perform root in Iris X8L you need to download a zip file, link below.
Before you proceed make sure to install VCOM drivers in your Windows. Below is the full noob friendly (sorry) guide to do that.

STEP 1. Download and extract zip file from below link to any folder, prefer desktop. Copy and paste the BETA-SuperSU-v2.52.zip to your phone internal/external storage.
STEP 2. Open SP Flash tool by launching it as administrator (must).
STEP 3. Load scatter file from the zip file you have extracted in step 1.
STEP 4. Swith off your device and keep the USB cable ready. Don't plug it. Click on download button and wait for atleast 5 seconds.
STEP 5. Plug USB cable into the both PC/Laptop and handset.
STEP 6. Wait for the SP flash tool to load red and then yellow.
STEP 7. After around 30 seconds SP flash tool will show green confirmation window. Which means downloading successful.
STEP 8. Don't switch on your device now. Till this step you have installed CTR recovery not rooted the device. Boot your device into recovery mode. Here how to.
STEP 9. Tap on install zip, choose zip file to flash and confirm it.
STEP 10. After few second your flash file is installed so your phone is rooted. Reboot it. Super SU will be installed in your mobile.
