[Solved] Lava Iris X8 Low Sound Problem

Lava Iris X8 is a powered packed android smartphone though suffer in audio performance. The smartphone does not comes with any hardware level sound enhancement and even its loudspeaker audio is set to low. However by using this method you can tweak your Iris X8 to increase its sound without rooting. Just follow the below step to increase lava iris x8 loudspeaker sound.


  • You need to enter in MediaTek Engineer Mode, for this either dial *#*#3646633#*#* or enter from mobile uncle tool. 
  • Navigate to Hardware Testing tab, under hardware tap on Audio an then Loudspeaker Mode.
  • The default value for "Ring" is set to low so you need to change it, change first value to 180 and second value to 145 then click on set.
  • Reboot is not required, please don't exceed the value bracket, it may cause problem with your loudspeaker. 
  • You can also install Dolby Atmos (link below) after root.
  • Another solution is to install Viper4Android FX and tweak your device sound, requires root.

    by doing this it becomes so heat,whn i play audio for few minutes.
    Whether above steps causes any hardware problem

      I have never face such problem with my x8 or any other phone. I suggest you to downgrade the value to 140 or something.
      Yes it may cause hardware problem if you set higher volume.

    is there any problem with the music player or audio hardware in lava iris x8?
    cause i am unable to get good quality of sound from this device using better headphones also. The same track and the same headphones does lot better with any samsung or even with mi pad also but not with IRIS X8.
    can you please help me?

      hey kamal, there is no such problem like that. though the phone lacks in any hardware level sound enhancement.
      Also there might be possible that Earphone sound enhancement is enabled in your phone, You can disable it from Settings > Sound Notifications > Sound enhancement > Audio Enhancer disable it...

      iris x8 do have sound issues, audio output is low and not as good as other low budget lava set.
